Clayton and Jeff and his friend Matt went to Beaver Lake for a 4th of July party at Judy Harvey’s house. Penny would join them Saturday night as she had to work on Friday. We had a great time at the lake.

We went again. This time Clayton caught a bunch of small fish and a couple of 2lb carp. It was hot, but we had a great time.

Jeffrey, his friend Matt, and I all went for a weekend at the lake. Penny joined us Sunday afternoon.
We did lots of fishing, swimming and bike riding. We had a great time. Matt had the biggest fish. He caught 2(ea) 10lb catfish. Jeff and I also caught some, not quite that big.

We haven’t been here before. This was a new experience. We went camping at Council Grove Lake just north of Council Grove Kansas. This was a great campground, with concrete sites and coverd picnic tables. Electricity and water, and right on the lake. We went with our friends, Daryl and Jen and their family. Penny and I were kidless this time. Jeff didn’t want to go.

We ventured out on Saturday morning for a one day trip to Lake Afton. It was supposed to be warm. It was warm and windy. Oh well. We got a little fishing in, but mostly just hung out and enjoyed each other’s company.

We finally got a descent weekend and ventured out to Lake Afton.
We de-winterized the trailer Thursday after setting up in the driveway. Everything is in working order.
