Clayton and Penny get new cars. Wow we didn’t expect to do that.
We went to Lubbers in Cheney, Ks. last Saturday to ‘look’ around for something to replace the van with. Something small but not too low to the ground. We found this 2006 Ford Escape and really liked it. We made the deal on that and told me I should refinance my truck at a lower rate. I told them I was interested in trading it in. The rest is history.
We came home Saturday with two vehicles. I took the old truck to them on Monday and finished the deal. They are making great deals right now, is all I can say. Continue Reading

We went on a great cruise this year. This time we went with another couple, Gayle and Darlene Mullin. No kids this time. We drove to Galveston and cruised on the Voyager of the Seas. We saw the ports of Cozumel, Roatan, and Costa Maya. The weather was great the whole time. Nobody got sunburned although Penny and Gayle got a few insect bites.

I managed to hit one on the way to work Wednesday Nov 19th, 2008. I got lucky and smacked him (her) as he was crossing the road. I kept going and the airbags did not deploy. My only damage was the grill. One bulb was burned out as well. I hope that is the last time that happens. That was really scarey!
