Styx rocked the house at Ks Star Casino Saturday March 21st. It was really great! There was no opening act and the mix was really good. They put on a good show, playing all their hits. I have seen them at lease 6 times, and they never disappoint. Read more to see the video.

I decided 4 guitar stands was taking up too much room in my already small music shed. I looked around on the internet and couldn’t find a stand reasonably priced. I did find some how to articles about making your own. I decided to tweak some I found, and create my own multi guitar stand. I had some spare 2×4’s and some leftover carpet.

Penny and I went to the Bon Jovi concert at the new Intrust Bank Arena. It was a great concert. They’ve still got it after 27 years. A really good performance and the stage show was awesome. They had lots of movable screens that displayed live video as well as produced content. A really top notch show. Video at the bottom of this post.

Jeff had another concert on Dec 15th. We are all very proud of him. He and his grade were definitely the best. They played last and were worth the wait.

Penny planned to have a celebration of Clayton’s 50th birthday at the gig on the 19th at Bourbon St. Bar & Grill. I was totally unaware of this plan. They caught me by complete surprise! It was fun. She brought out a cake in the afternoon and revealed it during our first break. Awesome.
She invited several friends out just for the party. It’s nice to know I have so many friends.

Penny and I went to see the concert at First Council Casino. It was great!
We ate dinner at the buffett in the casino and watched a great show. The stage was set up in the parking lot, and an area was roped off with plenty of seating. It was a beautiful night and a concert under the stars. We even went into the Casino and won a little bit after the show. All in all, a great evening.

Haysville Middle School had another musicfest Monday night. We were treated with the Choir, Orchestra, and of cource, The Band.
