I have a Peavey Vypyr VIP 100 Guitar Amp. I really like the amp, but the Sanpera footswitch that I have for it is really limited. I’ve found that several things are really helpful when using a footswitch for an amp, and the Sanpera really doesn’t deliver on any of those things.

Jeff played his last concert today. His grade sounded really good and I’m sad that he won’t be going on with the trumpet in High School next year. I did the same thing with the Alto Saxaphone when I went to High School, so I guess I can’t really say much. I’m glad he got the experience that he had, and I’m sure he learned a lot of valuable music lessons that can be used later in life.

The band heads to Dighton, Kansas to headline the Dightons Backyard Bash. Penny and Jeffrey go as well and camp at the fairgrounds in Dighton. It is a 4 1/2 hour drive to Dighton from Wichita. We all meet out there for some barbeque, car show, and live music from 5 bands.
We went to Lake Afton again. This time Clayton’s band, Shagdaddy had a gig at a wedding reception. The reception was in a pavilion at Lake Afton. Louis, our lead singer is a friend of the groom. We camped at a site within a hundred yards or so away from the pavilion. Clayton went to play the gig from 6 to 9 on Saturday, but that didn’t cut into our camping fun too much!
Table Rock and Beaver lakes were a blast! We spent two nights at each and enjoyed some time away from home.Clayton played accoustic and enteratined the Brown brother’s stepdad at his 70th birthday party at his home on Beaver lake.
Here is some really old video I dug up. My first gig! At the Cripple Chicken in 1991. Wow, that was a long time ago.
Also, a jam at Clayton’s house that restarted it all.
