12 Foot Craps Part 9

Posted May 7, 2015

I’ve finished with the polyurethane and ready to place the layout on the table! I moved the old table out of the way and moved the new one in it’s place. Vacuumed the dust, and┬áplaced some flannel down and then the layout on top.

My son and I centered it as best we could, then put the walls/box back on top.

We also set the chip tray in, and the green diamond ends. It’s time to throw some dice and check it out!

The table length is about right, maybe a little shorter than the casino close to us. The bounce is not really right. The bounce is minimal, and should be more. I’m not sure what to do about that. Maybe thicker felt under the layout?

The next step is to cut the layout to fit, then get started on those chip trays.

Table look great. Suggest you try Lowes or Home depot for some of their 1/16 inch thick, 4 ft wide black shower floor base. It’s similiar to what is used for outdoor decorative ponds, etc. nice bounce when under the felt.
Did you photo the entire process, if so where is it? Thanks
